3. Press each block very well. Square up to 6” x 6”
(15.24cm x 15.24cm), if necessary. Cut each block
diagonally from the lower left corner to the upper right
corner, making two triangles from each block for a total of
(128) triangles (Fig. 3).
Quilt Assembly:
5. Sew (8) blocks together to make (1) row. Repeat to
make (8) rows.
6. Sew the (8) rows together to make the quilt top.
7. Sew (1) 3 ½” x 41 ½” (8.89cm x 105.41cm) strip to each
side of the quilt top. Sew (1) 3 ½” x 47 ½”
(8.89cm x 120.65cm) to the top and to the bottom of the
quilt top.
Finishing:

4. Sew (1) light triangle and (1) dark triangle together,
along the longest side, to make (1) block. Square up to
5 ⅛” x 5 ⅛” (13.01cm x 13.01cm). Repeat to make (64)
blocks total (Fig. 4).
9. Prepare binding from (5) 2 ½” x WOF (6.35cm x WOF)
Fabric A strips. Sew strips together into one long binding
strip. Press strip in half lengthwise.
10. Carefully trim backing and batting even with quilt top.
11. Leaving an 8” (20.32cm) tail of binding, sew binding
to top of quilt through all layers matching all raw edges.
Miter corners. Stop approximately 12” (30.48cm) from
where you started. Lay both loose ends of binding flat
along quilt edge. Where these two loose ends meet, fold
them back on themselves and press to form a crease.
Using this crease as your stitching line, sew the two
open ends of the binding together right sides together.
Trim seam to ¼” (0.64cm) and press open. Finish sewing
binding to quilt.
