Art Discovery Brochure - Midwest Sculpture Initiative

Explore downtown Adrian and enjoy a
variety of sculptures in a new outdoor art
program, Adrian Art Discovery!
Ten new sculptures will be on display
around downtown Adrian, in addition
to the six already in place. Enjoy a walk
through the downtown parks and places
as you experience each sculpture. The
sculptures will be on display from May of
2012 through April of 2013.
Funding for the displays was made
possible through the Maurice and Dorothy
Stubnitz Foundation, the Fee Estate Trust
Fund and supported by the Adrian Public
Library, Adrian Parks & Recreation and the
Adrian Downtown Development
Authority. This exhibit is part of the Midwest
Sculpture Initiative, an effort designed
and administered by Ken Thompson of
Flatlanders in Blissfield.
Besides bringing beauty
and interest to Adrian’s
downtown, the new
sculptures are for sale, and
a portion of each sale will go
toward funding future
sculpture exhibits.
For more information on the
exhibit please visit the
