Plants were purchased as plugs and potted up using fafard #2 growers mix (70% peat, 20% perlite and 10% vermiculite)
in classic 1,000 pots. Osmocote plus was mixed into the soil mix with a soil mixer at a rate of 60 grams per pot. The
accent rose impatiens were potted on 6/3/13, the accent white impatiens were potted on 6/4/13 and the dazzler punch
impatiens were potted on 6/11/13. All plants were placed in hoop house #5 on a black woven porous weed mat.
Overhead irrigation was used when needed. Shade cloth (50% shade) was also added to the hoop house. Six applications
were made, with the first application being done on 7/17/13 with all chemicals applied. The second application was done
on 7/24/13 with just Alude at 1.25 quarts per 100 gallons and A14658C at 4 pints per 100 gallons. The third application
was done on 7/31/13 with both rates of Alude, and both rates of A14658C. The fourth application was done on 8/7/13
with only Alude at 1.25 quarts per 100 gallons and A14658C at 4 pints per 100 gallons being applied. The fifth
application was done on 8/14/13 with all chemicals and rates being applied. The sixth application was done on 8/21/13
with only Alude 1.25 quarts and A14658C 4 pints per 100 gallons being applied. A three nozzle boom was used for all
applications sprayed over the top covering all fourteen pots of the same treatment with a single pass. Foliage was dry
prior to all applications. For the drench applications, measuring cups were used to measure each pots drench application
and was poured evenly over the soil surface for complete coverage.

Irrigation timers were set to either 15, 30 or 60 minutes depending on the amount needed. 30 minutes equals .25 inches
and 60 minutes equals .5 inches.
