Amy’s Ride/Walk Supporting pancreatic cancer research and treatment Event Details Saturday, May 16, 2015 Event Options:  3 MILE WALK – $20 Single / $25 Family* (after May 9th, $25 Single / $30 Family ) The 3 mile walking loop is casual and family‐friendly. Strollers/joggers welcome. The mostly trail route departs from event area and travels a short distance on sidewalks before connecting to the Memorial Park Trail and then later returning to the start point. The 1.4 mile park trail portion of the route could be repeated for walkers seeking a greater challenge.*Family is parent/guardian, and child under 12 in these combinations: 1 parent & 1 child/2 children/3 children, 2 parents & 1 child/2 children  18 MILE RIDE – $40 (after May 9th, $45) For families and casual riders. This flat route crosses Sheards Covered Bridge and travels through wooded, scenic roads in Haycock looping around Lake Towhee  35 MILE RIDE – $40 (after May 9th, $45) For recreational to avid cyclists. This ride starts with the same flat 18 mile route that includes Sheards Covered Bridge, but takes an additional 17 mile loop through more of Haycock and Springfield Townships. The additional loop includes a second covered bridge (Knechts Covered Bridge) and two category 5 climbs. If you’re a Strava enthusiast and want a challenge, try becoming King or Queen of the Mountain on one or both of these climbs. It’s your chance to get your heart rate up and win one of the coveted purple polka dotted shirts befitting a King or Queen of the Mountain! And yes, we want to remind everyone, this is a ride, NOT a race. But … a little fun on one or two teeny little hills is available for those that want it!
