THE RAIN OF FIRE

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing
mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and
it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy
Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave
them utterance. [Acts 2:2-4]
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that
cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy
to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.;
[Matthew 3:11]
The winds of the Holy Ghost is beginning to blow
throughout America and the world and it is bringing a rain of
fire. The end of the last days are upon us and God is
preparing a people for the coming of the Lord.
I am feeling the fire of the Holy Ghost burning within
me as I did years ago. Although the church has endured a
very dry season for many years, God is sending a great
awakening.
We have all read about the Great Awakenings of the
last century. We have read about powerful men of God and
their incredible exploits. Yes, we have heard about how God
moved long ago, but friends, get ready, we are about to
experience more than you have ever read about!
I have preached for years that we must have another
outpouring of the Holy Ghost. We are dying spiritually! We
are a vine that is withered and will soon perish unless God
sends His Holy Rain of Fire upon us. We need the latter rain
of the fire of God!

The prophet Joel foretold our time: “The field is
wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new
wine is dried up, the oil languisheth. Be ye ashamed, O ye
husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for
the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished. The
vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the
pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree,
even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is
withered away from the sons of men.” [Joel 1:10-12]
Joel is prophesying of a spiritual condition, not a natural
one! It is evident by his prophesy that the “new wine” had
already been poured out and that it had dried up. The new
wine is the Holy Ghost. Jesus said, “you can’t put new wine
in old bottles”. In other words, the "new wine" or Holy
Ghost will not come into old order religion. The new wine
came on the day of Pentecost into vessels prepared for a
"new" experience in God! The "New Covenant" came on
Pentecost.
Joel said the harvest of the field is perished! If you
would be honest, you would say, “we are dying”! Our
children and grandchildren are being given over to all kinds
of demonic activity and it seems we are helpless against
what we know is happening. Folks, we need a revival!
Joel prophesied that "joy is withered away from the
sons of men". Few today have real joy! I see many
Christians in our meetings that are bound by oppression and
depression. It seems many are ruled by these discouraging
emotions and cannot seem to escape them. Surely, we are
seeing Joel’s prophecy come to pass for there is little real joy
left among God’s people. Where there is no joy, there is no
strength, no power; "for the joy of the Lord is our strength".
This is why I believe God is about to pour out His
Holy Rain and I believe it will be the last (latter) rain. It will
be sent to bring back to life the vine that is clearly dried up.
It will come to bring this last day harvest into maturity for

the coming of our Lord. God is not coming back for a dead
dried up church!
Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn,
and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise
us up, and we shall live in his sight. Then shall we know, if
we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared
as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as
the latter and former rain unto the earth. [Hosea 6:1-3]
Wow! “Let us return unto the Lord!” That’s our
answer for revival! Let’s get back to the Word!
Look at the prophecy of Hosea a moment. He said
that after two days, He will revive us, and in the third day,
He will raise us up. In God’s time, one day is as a thousand
years with the Lord. We are very close to the end of the
second day since Pentecost! What happens after the second
day? Hosea prophesied, after two days there would be
reviving!
What kind of revival will it be? Hosea said the Lord
will come to us as the rain, as the former and latter rain! I
am looking for a double portion of God’s Holy Baptism of
Fire!
Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD
your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately,
and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former
rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors
shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine
and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locust
hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the
palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
[Joel 2:23-25]
A great restoration is prophesied to come! Joel said,
“For he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he
will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain,
and the latter rain in the first month.” I believe the prophet
is saying the former rain that was poured out on the day of

Pentecost was poured out moderately! But what would
come afterward would be the former and the latter rain in
the first month. A double portion! Both rains at the same
time!
According to Jesus, harvest time is in the end of the
world! I believe it’s harvest time! Every farmer knows he
must have a good rain in order to have a good harvest. I
believe God is about to rain down the Holy Ghost to mature
and empower the church as never before.
Here is another scripture that lets us know the latter
rain will come at the end of the last days. “Be patient
therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold,
the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth,
and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and
latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the
coming of the Lord draweth nigh.” [James 5:7-8]
What is the Lord patient for? The early (former) and
the latter (last) rain! This scripture alone lets us know the
latter rain comes just prior to the second coming of our

But wait! I am not only convinced by the Word of
God, I am convinced by what I feel and see in the Spirit!
I feel it! I sense it! I am persuaded by what I read,
feel and see. This is the time to be filled with God's Holy
Spirit.
Lately, my mind keeps going back to that glorious
summer night in 1972 when I was first baptized in the Holy
Ghost and spoke in tongues as the Spirit gave utterance.
When the man of God laid his hands on me the power of
God came upon me and immediately it felt as if I were in a
whirlwind. The wind of God had filled me!
And again in 1995, I was visited by the Holy Ghost in
the state of Texas and felt I was baptized all over again as
the Spirit of God virtually lifted my inner man out of my body
as great power surged through my hand into my body as I

spoke in the heavenly language. I believe God put a gift in
me that night.
No one could ever convince me that there is no such
thing as the baptism of the Holy Ghost! I’ve got it , AND
THE FIRE CAME WITH IT! Not only do I have it; I believe
I’m going to receive a double portion very soon!
I don’t know about you but I am excited! Yes,
excited because I know the Power is about to be sent.
I keep hearing about people being filled with the Holy
Ghost all over the world. I keep hearing about uncommon
miracles being performed in Jesus name.
I believe these reports! This is just the beginning!
Get ready for the Holy Ghost! You say, “I already have the
Holy Ghost”. Good for you! You’re going to get it all over
again, and twice as much.
Children of God, you must hunger for Him if you are
to be filled. Too many of God’s people are hungry for the
wrong things: the world, money, pleasures, prosperity,
materialism, etc. You don’t have to seek after these things.
Jesus said all these things would be ours if we would seek
the Kingdom! And the Kingdom of God is: “For the
kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness,
and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” [Romans 14:17]
I hear the sound of an abundance of rain! The winds
of God is blowing again.
You might look around you at your condition or what
you perceive to be the condition of the church and say the
church is cold and lukewarm at best. And I say, “On the
most part, you are right”! But I also say, you don't have to
remain in that condition, you can be filled with the Spirit
right now!
The prophet Ezekiel was given a vision of a valley
filled with dry bones. The bones were very dry, which
meant they were very dead and had been dead a long time.
It has been a very long time since the church has
seen a true manifestation of God's Power.

The Lord asked the prophet if the bones could live.
The prophet replied, “thou knowest”. God then told the
prophet to, “Prophesy upon these bones and I will cause
them to live.” Yes, things might look dark right now, but
what a difference a day can make when God speaks!
Now, let’s read what Ezekiel did: “So I prophesied as
I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise,
and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone
to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh
came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but
there was no breath in them.” [Ezekiel 37:7-8]
The prophet witnessed a great transformation! But
there was no breath in them. They were still dead! Does
this remind you of the condition of modern religion? They
have the appearance of righteousness, but without any
breath or spirit in them.
Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy,
son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon
these slain, that they may live. So I prophesied as he
commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they
lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great
army. Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are
the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are
dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
[Ezekiel 37:9-11]
It is time for God’s prophets to prophesy! Speak to
the Wind! "Breathe on us 'O God! Send your Wind upon us
that we might live; for we are the modern day house of
Israel and our hope is lost. Lord send a revival!"
I hope you can see this! We need rain, Holy Ghost
Rain! Without a real God Sent Holy Ghost revival, we will
perish in this desert land. Our bones are dry, our lives are
dry, our churches are dry. We must have an outpouring and
I believe God is sending it.

After I was filled with the Holy Ghost some 30 years
ago I knew I could have revival on the devils door step!
Why? Because revival was in me, and on me.
It didn’t matter what anybody thought about me, my
preaching was provoking, personal and loud. Most of the
time I was running from one side of the church to the other
and up the isles while I preached! I was a fanatic for God.
God manifested Himself in the meetings. People were
saved, healed and delivered.
I want you to know, God has not changed, and
neither have I! I am more prepared now than ever for a
Holy Ghost and Fire revival!
Listen, I have no doubt, a double portion of God's
Spirit is coming and it will be great. But I am not waiting on
the "Latter Rain" to do God's Work; I have the anointing
right now to heal the sick, cast out devils and raise the dead.
God told me a few years ago that the devils were
afraid of me. I believe that! I know they are! I have got
the Holy Ghost, the Name of Jesus and the Word of God! I
am submitted to God and have resisted the devil. He has
got to go! James said, “Submit yourselves therefore to God.
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”. [James 4:7] I
have got him on the run. Yes, he is running from me! God’s
Word tells me that I have power and authority over all devils
(Luke 9:1). That means they are subject to me! I am not
going around with holy water pleading the blood and going
through all kinds of rituals in order to cast the devil out! As
far as I am concerned, they simply have got to go in Jesus
name!
On that Glorious Day of Pentecost the wind came first
and filled all the house and then the rain of fire fell!
My friends I am feeling the wind of God's Latter Rain;
I feel fired up, restored, renewed, revived, rejuvenated and
ready for more of God. I want you to be the same! I hope
