T OP 5 S CARIEST P LACES IN THE W ORLD
You might never have heard of
these places. Maybe you have.
Maybe you know it’s true or
maybe you ignore it saying it’s
not true. But I think it is quite
interesting. Here are some the
worlds top scariest places on
earth.
1. Aokigahara, Japan. This
place is known as the suicide forest where people have been found
dead. Hikers who that (for some
reason ) take hikes in this forest
say that they’ve always gotten
lost. Some people say when they
go into the forest they hear people calling their names or some
people groaning, trying to lure
them into the forest. Many people also say they can feel someone
watching them. No one has ever
gone deep in the forest before.
Maybe there are more dead, decaying bodies people haven’t
found yet. They have a sign up to
warn people not to come in.
2. Jacob's Well. This small lake
looks innocent, nice enough to
take a swim in it, to get on a high
rock and jump down, splashing
water, jumping in every direction. Only when you fall in, you
fall down, deep down. Why?
This innocent lake isn’t innocent at all. It is very deep with
no explanation and it looks
harmless but few scientists have
gone down there to take pictures. What is strange is that
when a person walks with his
dog the dog always jumps in the
lake and dies by drowning.
There is no explanation why
the dogs always seem to be
jumping off the bridge into the
lake, but there is a sign saying
to keep your dog on a
leash. Imagine that!
3. Island of dolls, Mexico.
The Island of Dolls, Mexico is a
tourist attraction in the south of
Mexico where there are dolls
hanging on trees. The story
starts with a man named Julian
Santana Barrera who was just
minding his own business when
he came upon a river with a
doll floating in it. He soon
learned that a little girl had died
there so he got the doll and
hung it up in a nearby tree
thinking that the dead little girl
would like it. Every year he
hung dolls up until his death.
Then his family moved in and
BY
J ESSICA S ANCHEZ
ran the tradition for him, hanging
dolls up in the trees. Soon they
made it into a tourist attraction.
People have said that the dolls
seem to be following them with
their eyes, and they always seem
to be whispering to each other.
Would you like to go see it?
4. The Abandoned City of Pripyat. The abandoned city of Pripyat is in Ukraine where there was
an accident of a nuclear plant that
went off and now the city is
empty. It is a very creepy looking
place if you ask me.
5. Wood Chester Mansion. The
Wood Chester mansion is located
in the United Kingdom. It is an
unfinished gothic mansion, where
people say that there are people
who practice forbidden spells and
such things. They used to say
witches cast a spell on this mansion and that ghosts roam in this
mansion. Who knows for sure?
