Answer the FOLLOWING questions using your photographs. Please respond
using complete sentences.
1) Look at your photographs and list three different features about
yourself as a baby.
2) What do you remember about your photographs?
3)Why did you choose these specific pictures?
4)How old are you in each picture? (If exact age is unknown, what is your
approximate age?)
5) Were your photographs taken for a specific reason? (If you are unsure, ask
a family member or take an educated guess.) Are you with anyone else in the
photos?

For these questions, please state the cities, states, and countries you have lived in
prior to Warren. If you have only lived in Warren, NJ please write a complete sentence
stating this.
1) Have you ever lived:
a) Outside of the United States? If yes, where? If no, simply state no.
b) In another state ? If yes, which?
c) In another city/town? If yes, state the name of the city
Remember that you will present your responses to all questions in
step 1 to an audience.
Step Three : Compare and Contrast
Step 3 is to be completed and presented in SPANISH.
All responses must be written in complete sentences.
1. Using your photographs as a visual, write THREE Spanish
sentences describing your physical appearance as a child.
(Refer to your photographs for inspiration!)
2. Next, write THREE Spanish sentences describing your physical
appearance TODAY.
Think: What phrases would you use to define yourself as an individual? What are some of
your physical characteristics? How would you describe yourself to another?
3. Using complete sentences, state TWO Spanish adjectives that
describe your PERSONALITY.
Remember to begin your sentences with “Yo Soy” (I am)
Step Four: The Future and your Likes & Dislikes
Step 4 is to be completed & presented in SPANISH.
All responses must be written in complete Spanish sentences.
Answer the “sentence starters” below in Spanish based upon your personal choices.

3) Write a minimum of three Spanish sentences stating what you would like
to do in the future (jobs, family, school, etc.). Please include the translation
of these three sentences into English in case you use unknown vocabulary.
Use “ir + a + infinitvo”= Voy a ser……” = I’m going to be….
Step Five: completed and presented in English
Choose ONE special memory or positive event from
your life thus far. In 6-8 complete sentences discuss in
detail this memory/event and why it is important to
you.
Think: why does this occasion stand out from the rest?
 Don’t forget to include your reason for selecting this particular
memory
Please make sure that you are comfortable sharing this
“memory” in front of an audience.
Please refrain from topics that are inappropriate for school, or emotional topics.
Reminders:
This entire project will be presented in front of an audience.
Rough Drafts can be typed or hand written on paper or index cards, or may be electronically
sent to me, or submitted via the drop box .
 You have the option to present your ENTIRE project electronically. Please take advantage of creating an
electronic presentation, word document, power point presentation, a video, or even a slide.
 Make sure that ALL required steps are completed prior to your presentation date.
 PRACTICE & REVIEW the pronunciation of all Spanish sentences prior to presenting. If you need help,
make arrangements with Sra. Slack in advance. DO NOT wait until the last minute.
 Double check that all written work is accurate, legible, and grammatically correct so that when you present,
you do not make mistakes.
 Remember to speak clearly and make eye contact with your audience.
 We will be working on this project in class on designated dates only. You will also need to work at home in
order to have everything completed on time.
 You will need to show Sra. Slack your ROUGH DRAFTS of all steps completed in Spanish (one at a time
as you complete them, or all at once) These must be ROUGH DRAFT copies, NOT final copies, because
I may need to write on them. All rough drafts must be turned in on the designated due dates. I will
look them over and either check you off as completed or give you suggestions on how to improve
them. You must have all steps of this project completed before writing up your FINAL COPY to present, or
you will lose points for your completion score (5 points for each step not checked off). If you wait until
the last minute to turn them all in, I may not have time in class to help you. Therefore, you will lose
points. Please be responsible and get them checked off as you complete them
If you chose to present this project electronically (or make a video), it is your responsibility to properly edit, save, and
upload the presentation or video so that it can be viewed with the smart board. Please remember that my school
computer is NOT a MAC so if you choose to use I-movie or Apple software, make sure you either upload the
presentation to you tube(private setting) or convert and save on a flash drive or burn onto a cd.
