SHORT COURSES
Certificates of Competence, are recognised & respected around
the world. Qualification as a RYA Yachtmaster™ is the ultimate
aim of many skippers, both professional & recreational.
The practical exams can be taken under sail or power and your
certificate will be endorsed accordingly. It is also a pre-requisite
for the MCA's Officer of the Watch qualification, which enables
you to work worldwide on vessels of up to 3000gt.
You can enter our sail cruising programme at any stage according
to your knowledge and experience, you don’t have to start at the
beginning. Before you book your training, let your instructor
advice you on the best course for your skills and requirements.

Be in charge of a yacht on passages of any length

For sailors & beginners who

& practice on a catamaran!
This course is an introduction to boating techniques for launching
and recovering a boat from a road trailer, everyday boat handling
and the use of safety equipment.
» POWERBOAT LEVEL 2
The Powerboat Level 2 provides the skills and background
knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver and
is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence.
A two-day course covering basic boathandling,
engine checks & safety.
» DAY SKIPPER
For the more ambitious skippers to improve their skills,
take charge & learn to make full use of the boat on longer,
more complex passages.
» OWN BOAT TUITION
If you have your own boat or a group of people wanting
the same training, you could arrange for an instructor

» MARINE RADIO SHORT RANGE CERTIFICATE
