Setting Up FES Connect

Select “Manage Account” from your FES Connect Tab. Click the “ACTIVATE” button inside
the box located in the middle of the page - then choose “Select Template” to begin!
Once a template is published (your page is posted online), your new FES Connect URL
will be displayed here.
o
“Select Template” will take you to the FES Connect Template Library, where you can
preview your options and select your webpage.
o
Mouse-over each template to see what that template pertains to and select “PREVIEW”
to view a full version of that template. Please keep in mind, you cannot edit or publish
the website on the Preview pages.

Once you have chosen which FES Connect page you would like to use, select “Use
Template” from the Template Library. You can now click on the editable fields and enter
your information. The fields available are “Name” “Phone” and Email”. You can also click
on the “Enroll” button, which will add an “Enroll Now” button to your page. This button
will link directly to the coordinating enrollment form on your MyFES.net website. You
may choose to eliminate this button by disabling the enrollment feature.
Not all templates have editable information.

Some templates have a logo/picture option. You can click on this to select an FES
company or service logo, or you may add in a picture yourself. This picture should be a
professional headshot or your personal business logo.

At the top of the page, check out the website in three different formats – Browser, Tablet
and Mobile. Notice that the Mobile display has a “Call Me” “Text Me” “Email Me” feature
at the top. This will allow anyone accessing your FES Connect website off of a mobile
device to immediately place a call to you, send you a text message or an email.
Please Note: The contact information you add to your FES Connect website will be
utilized for the Call/Text/Email feature on mobile devices. Please be advised that if you
add a landline for the phone option, the text feature will not be available.
Template 3 does not offer the ability to add your personal information to your
page. If you wish to utilize the Call/Text/Email feature with this template – Enter
your information into a template that allows you to do so. Once you SAVE, that
information will be linked to your FES Connect Account. You can then choose to
use Template 3 and this feature will be activated with your information.

Once you have completed all editable fields within your template, click SAVE to lock in
your information.

You must click “PUBLISH” to launch your website. This applies to when you create
your first FES Connect website, change any information or switch between templates.
Publish will launch the website – and any changes in the future- to your URL.

FES CONNECT : WHAT IS IT?
FES Connect is a single page website, with a mobile friendly design, which allows you to target
specific areas of the FES Business or it’s services to advertise online. For example, if you want to
focus your marketing on the FES Protection Plan, you would choose a template specifically
pertaining to that service. FES Connect allows potential clients to get in touch with you using
your contact information that is displayed on the page or by filling out a form with their
information, which will be sent to you for follow up.
HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT THAN MY WWW.MYFES.NET WEBSITE?
We have received feedback from agents that would like to market one specific service online or
just pass on a video to prompt communication- without an overload of details on the company
or the multiple services we offer. MyFES.net hosts information about all of our services as well as
the Business Opportunity. Your FES Connect page will focus on one service OR the Business
Opportunity. You can utilize both your www.MyFES.net website and your FES Connect website in
different ways and for different clients based on their needs.
WHAT IS MY FES CONNECT WEBSITE URL? CAN I USE MY OWN DOMAIN NAME?
Your FES Connect URL will be displayed in the “Manage Account” section, under your FES
Connect Tab, once you have published your first template. This URL will be
www.FESConnect.net/
and will follow with your current FES Username.
Yes, you can use or create your own domain name and forward your FES Connect page.
Remember to use professional and compliant domain names.

HOW MUCH DOES FES CONNECT COST? DO I HAVE TO SET UP A FES CONNECT PAGE?
FES Connect is a free marketing tool for FES Agents. You are not required to set up and utilize
FES Connect. This is a marketing tool available to agents that wish to reach out and connect with
prospective clients via web or mobile landing page.
WHERE CAN I FIND MY LEADS THAT COME THROUGH MY FES CONNECT WEBPAGE?
Your leads will be added to the Lead Management section under the FES Connect tab in your
Business Office. You will also receive an email when someone enters information into your FES
Connect page. Please follow up will all leads you receive within a timely matter.
WHAT INFORMATION CAN I ADD OR EDIT ON MY FES CONNECT WEBSITE?
Different templates allow different edits – but many allow you the ability to add your Name,
Phone Number and Email address. Some templates give you the ability to add your photo. You
also have the option of direct linking the pertaining enrollment form to your MyFES.net website.
For example- if utilizing a FES Protection Plan template, you can Enable your enrollment form –
which will add an “Enroll Now” button to your FES Connect page. Once a potential client clicks
this button, they will be transferred to your FES Protection Plan enrollment page at your
MyFES.net website.
WHY CAN’T I EDIT THE FULL WEBSITE?
It’s extremely important that marketing your FES business follows all compliance guidelines. Our
company prides itself on customer satisfaction and ensuring the right information is given to
potential clients and in a proper and professional format. By freezing the text on the FES
Connect websites, you can be sure that each webpage has already been checked for compliance
and guarantee the correct information is distributed about our business and it’s services.

WHY ARE THERE A LIMITED AMOUNT OF TEMPLATES?
As we began building FES Connect, we realized that we wanted to allow agents to decide the
direction, look and feel of the templates we provide. The templates available are a starting point
to launch the program, utilizing our current videos and information.
NONE OF THESE TEMPLATES MATCH MY STYLE – I NEED MORE FEATURES!
Once you Activate your FES Connect account, you will be added to our online email survey list.
Survey’s will be sent out monthly asking for your opinion on what type of features and designs
you want to see added. We will base further development decisions off of your feedback. Please
feel free to provide taglines, specific information or videos you would like to see, as well as
images, services or features you would like us to add. FES Connect will grow and advance based
off of your feedback.
HOW MANY FES CONNECT WEBSITES CAN I HAVE?
Currently, your account will only allow one FES Connect template at a time. You can change this
template as many times and as often as you would like- just keep in mind that when switching
between services, the URL you published in any place will transfer over to your newest selection.
Therefore, if I’ve been marketing the FES Protection Plan and utilizing that template – and then
switch to the Business Opportunity template – anywhere I previously posted that URL (in an
email, online, social media) will no longer pertain the FES Protection Plan, but link to my
Business Opportunity template.
WHAT OTHER FEATURES CAN I EXPECT IN THE FUTURE?
We have big plans for FES Connect! We will expand the templates into a full library of options as
well as add ways for you to interact with prospective clients within your Lead Management
system.
