Business in Greater Gainesville recently held its Impact
Awards ceremony. Presented by Campus USA, The
Impact Awards recognizes those who have motivated,
educated, inspired, and altogether had a positive impact on
Greater Gainesville. The Chamber is proud to see many

New FloridaWins.Org Video ReleasedTransportation: Paving
the Path to Florida's Future
Florida has an opportunity to get transportation investments
right. The Florida Chamber​s non-partisan employer to
employee program FloridaWins.Org is leading the charge
on making sure employees have important information on
issues that matter to Florida families, job creators and to our
state​s economic success. It​s our hope to share this story
with transportation partners like you and the more than
three million Floridians that Florida Chamber members
employ.
Delegation Travels to New York City to tell the Story of
Talent, Innovation and Opportunity in Greater Gainesville
On Dec. 4-6, over the course of 48 hours, a team of
business leaders ​ including Liam McClay, Assistant to the
President for Innovation & Governmental Affairs at Santa
Fe College; Lee Niblock, Alachua County Manager; Ryan
Loftus, Senior Engineering Manager at Exactech; and Andy
Hopson, Executive Director of The Agency ​ and a group of
Chamber staff conducted 13 meetings in New York

New $138 Million Nanotherapeutics Facility Opens in City of
Alachua
On Dec. 7, officials from the United States Department of
Defense as well as local elected officials and business
leaders gathered for a ribbon-cutting for Nanotherapeutics​
new facility in the City of Alachua. The new facility was
designed specifically to incorporate technological advances
in disposable manufacturing equipment and provide a
multi-product capability that reduces both overall costs and the time necessary to

Starting in January, Gainesville will be rocking to the
celebration sounds of Cuban arts and culture, with the
debut of Bulla Cubana!, a multi-venue, three-month festival
across the city's cultural centers through March.
Showcasing the extraordinary talents of invited fine artists,
muralists, dancers, musicians, authors, photographers, academics and filmmakers,
Bulla Cubana is the first event of its kind to cultivate and celebrate Cuban artistry

Meet Rose Anna Rutledge
Rose Anna Rutledge is a licensed mental health counselor and a certified forensic
mental health evaluator, who provides services at the ITM Group in Gainesville. She
recently presented to the Family Law Section at the Alachua County Civil and Family
Justice Center in Courtroom 3A. Her topic of focus was on
the issues of parallel parenting ​ when co-parenting just does
not work. The presentation was approved a 1 Credit Free
CLE. Ms. Rutledge provides psychotherapy to adults and
children; families and couples.
