This is an election year. We must appoint a
Nominating Committee at the September meeting.
That committee will present a slate of nominees at
the October business meeting, October 27, 2016.
Elections are held at the November business
meeting, November 17, 2016 (the 4th Thursday is
Thanksgiving). The installation will be at the
beginning of the January business meeting, January
26, 2017.
Business Meetings of the Menands Senior Citizens
Club are held at 10:30am on the 4th Thursday of
each month except July and August. However, as
per Artice-V, Section I, of the By-Laws, this may be
changed by a majority vote of those present at any
membership business meeting.
This year the September meeting will be on the 5th
Thursday, September 29, because most of the
officers and members will be on the Niagara
Falls/Canada Trip, September 22.
