Install Instructions
1. Align driver assembly
stand-off with leads to
binding post.
2. Attach driver assembly
to dome. Do not over
tighten lock nut.
3. Attach wire leads to
back of binding post.
4. Insert coupling assembly
see Fig 2 for stack order.
Finger tighten flange nut
against plastic washer.
5. Attach eyebolt, rod or
hanging cable to dome.
Tighten flange nut against
coupling.
6. Attach signal wire to
dome. Zip tie signal
wire neatly to cable or
mounting bracket.
7. If needed, level dome by
loosening flange nut and
leveling dome. Tighten
both flange nuts against
coupling nut using two
wrenches.
8. Done!
Items To Consider Before Installing
Desired Focus
Determine if you want to reach only one person with minimal bleed, one person with some bleed (to
attract those passing by) or a small group of 2-4 people.
Hanging Height
The ideal hanging height for presenting audio to one standing person is 7’6” from the floor to the bottom
of the center pod. From there, all other factors must be considered. The higher the speaker is hung the
wider the dispersion pattern.
System Volume
The FP speaker system is designed for controlled dispersion and low output level use. Volume (SPL)
beyond the typical FP application norm will result in sound spill-over. Experiment to find appropriate
levels for your installation. A balance of output volume vs. ambient noise will produce the best results.

1. The dual-parabolic lens (dome) is made of plastic, which is fragile. Be careful not to scratch or crack
dome and speaker system. When cleaning, only use plastic cleaning solutions free of alcohol or ammonia
and use lint-free cotton cloths.
2. Be sure mounting structure is safe and appropriate for the desired installation. SoundTube speakers mustbe
installed by a professional audio installer/contractor. For safety and for optimum audio performance,
installer must follow all directions issued by SoundTube Entertainment.
3. Be sure volume control on sound source is turned down prior to turning on system.
