To make a rocket destined for the moon all you need is:
• Cardboard tube
• Card
• Paper
• Foil
• Coloured pens or pencils
• Glue or tape
How to do it:
2
Wrap the cardboard tube in white paper.
2
Decorate the rocket with coloured pens or pencils.

Draw a half circle on card with a 6cm radius, and
cut out. Cover one side in foil using glue, then fold
the card into a cone shape and secure using glue
or tape. Then glue the shiny cone to the top of the
rocket.

Now draw a half circle on card with a 7cm radius,
and another half circle with a 5cm radius within it.
Cover one side in foil using glue, then fold the card
into a coned hoop shape and secure using glue or
tape. Then glue to the bottom of the rocket.

Finally, draw a wing onto card and cut out. Fold the
tab, and secure to the rocket using glue or tape.
Repeat for all 4 wings, then your rocket is ready for

Once you’ve created one rocket, why not build another space craft fit for
extraterestrail travel.
