Making a rocket with 1 To make a rocket destined for the moon all you need is: • Cardboard tube • Card • Paper • Foil • Coloured pens or pencils • Glue or tape How to do it: 2 Wrap the cardboard tube in white paper. 2 Decorate the rocket with coloured pens or pencils. 3 Draw a half circle on card with a 6cm radius, and cut out. Cover one side in foil using glue, then fold the card into a cone shape and secure using glue or tape. Then glue the shiny cone to the top of the rocket. 4 Now draw a half circle on card with a 7cm radius, and another half circle with a 5cm radius within it. Cover one side in foil using glue, then fold the card into a coned hoop shape and secure using glue or tape. Then glue to the bottom of the rocket. 5 Finally, draw a wing onto card and cut out. Fold the tab, and secure to the rocket using glue or tape.
