UHT – Unpolished with Cross-Sheen® and
Hydrotect™ finish imparts a subtle glow that
enhances the color of the tile and also allows stains
and scuff marks to be easily wiped off the surface.
SHT — Satin finish with Hydrotect™.

Hydrotect
Virtue is made using Crossville's
EcoCycle Tile Process™, it contains a
minimum 4 percent pre-consumer
third-party recycled content and is
Green Squared® Certified. Through
these recycling processes Crossville
recycles nearly 12 million pounds of
previously discarded filtrate and fired
tile waste. In addition to its own fired
waste recycling, Crossville also
accepts and recycles reclaimed,
previously installed tile through its
Tile Take-Back™ Program. For more

Regular cleaning is the best way
to keep Virtue tile looking good for
years to come. Use clean, hot water
(combined with a household cleaner
for more aggressive cleaning). Rinse
thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.
No waxes are needed. Virtue satin
requires a grout release prior to
grouting. DO NOT use a penetrating
sealer, as it will diminish or render
ineffective the Hydrotect benefits.

Recommended Use
Wet area use for Virtue mosaics
Virtue is recommended for interior
floors, walls, countertops, and
exterior walls in both residential and
commercial applications. Virtue is not
recommended for exterior horizontal
surfaces or exterior paving. The satin
finish is not recommended for wet
areas where standing water may
occur. If offset pattern is required for
tiles 15 inches or longer, Crossville®
recommends an offset of not greater
than 33%. If an offset greater than
33% is specified, specifier and owner
must approve mock-up and lippage.

Crossville produces the Virtue 2 x 2
hexagon and 3 x 3 mosaics with the CrossSheen® (UHT) finish. The AcuTestsm wet
Dynamic COF of Virtue is ≥ 0.42. Their
small sizes ensure frequent grout joints
which provides traction and drainage.
Crossville cannot control situations
involving incorrect installation, improper
slope to the drain for elimination of
standing water and poor surface cleaning.
