General Information
Parking in designated parking lots only — no roadside parking
around park perimeter is permitted at any time. Current Oakland
County Parks annual or daily vehicle permit required. Permits can
be purchased online or at:

RULES
1. Permitted park uses: hiking, horseback riding,
recreational biking, cross-country skiing
(ungroomed), fishing, geocaching, letterboxing
and boating (carry-in only; non-motorized or
electric motors only).
Seasonal archery hunting for white-tailed deer is
permitted within the park Oct. 1–Jan. 1. Separate
archery hunting map/rules available.
2. Equestrian trailer parking only permitted in Fish
Lake Rd. parking lot.
3. Please stay on designated trails. Do not hike off
trail or blaze new trails.
4. Park is open approximately 30 minutes before
sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset, or as posted
at entrance.
5. Bicyclists must yield to pedestrians
and horses. Pedestrians yield to
horses. Keep right except to pass.
6. Leave no trace. Properly dispose of all garbage
and pet waste in receptacles provided.
7. Collection, destruction, or taking of plants,
wildlife, and natural surroundings is prohibited.
8. Dogs are permitted if confined on a leash not
exceeding six feet in length. All pets must
have proper vaccinations. Field dog training
prohibited. Owners must clean up pet waste.
9. Help keep the Oakland County Parks safe, clean
and well-maintained. Report accidents to the
Oakland County Sheriff’s Office at 248-858-4950.
10. Report vandalism or a problem on the trail to
park staff at 248-858-0906.
