‘Great American Burger Competition 2016’
Chefs from the renowned 25 Degrees Burgers, Wine & Liquor Bar at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G
recently triumphed in ‘Great American Burger Competition 2016’, taking home first prize.
U.S. Embassy Bangkok’s Foreign Agricultural Service has bring back the second annual American
Burger Festival at the American Food, Fun, and Family Fair at Central World. The event kicked off with
the ‘Great American Burger Competition 2016’, in which ten chefs from Bangkok’s top burger
restaurants battled it out with their own special menus using U.S. beef, U.S. potatoes, California
cheese, and Washington apples. A judging panel of culinary experts awarded the grand prize to 25
Degrees Burgers, Wine & Liquor Bar for their fabulous "Quarter Mile Burger" menu. The team also
took home an extra prize for the most ‘Creative Use of U.S. Potatoes’ with a baked Benedictine potato
dish.
