Nottinghamshire Hospice is a community-based palliative care centre providing high quality care services to adults who have terminal and life-limiting illnesses, and support for their families and carers. Care and support is offered at the Hospice’s facilities in Woodborough Road, Nottingham or in patients’ own homes across the region. Our range of services are provided free of charge, and Nottinghamshire Hospice relies heavily on donations and fundraising to provide these services. Please consider leaving a gift in your will to Nottinghamshire Hospice. We understand that family and loved ones come first but after you’ve considered what you would like to leave them, if you feel you could leave the hospice a share of what is left, we would very much appreciate your generosity. How a gift in your will can make a difference: £500 will provide a week’s creative therapy for our patients so they have opportunities to express, explore and share feelings through arts sessions; to exercise their mind, body and spirit; to celebrate who they are in the enjoyable, dynamic and safe environment we aim to create. £1,000 will provide 45 hours of complementary therapy which helps with pain management, anxiety or simply to aid relaxation. £5,000 will provide 20 day trips for our patients so they are able to experience the normal things we all take for granted; patients can visit local events or take a trip to the shops to buy Christmas presents for their loved ones. £25,000 will fund the operational costs and maintenance of our four minibuses for a year. It is essential for us to be able to provide safe transport for disabled patients’ wheelchairs who otherwise would not be able to leave their home and access services at the hospice. £50,000 will sponsor two nurses for a year. This will provide over 70 hours of care each week to dying people at home. All donations are gratefully received and we thank you for your support
