New Arrivals Adult’s Books QB: My Life Behind the Spiral by Steve Young Winter Storm Help Richmond City asks for your help after the storm passes (or at least takes a break). Please dig out around any fire hydrant in your area. In case of an emergency, we don’t want the responders slowed down by having to dig out the hydrant. Minutes are precious in an emergency situation. Fire departments recommend clearing 3 feet out from around the hydrant. Please do not push or blow your snow into the street. When the snow freezes on the road, it creates a hazard for vehicles as well as the snow plows. Please clean off your sidewalk after the storm. And help neighbors who are unable to get to theirs. Allow extra time to get your destination. Our snow plow drivers, UDOT, other cities, and the county have staff operating nearly non-stop to keep the roads clear.
