The annual Lamplighter Carnival is not only a celebration of Lamplighter's 60 illuminating
years, but a wonderful tradition that your child and family will remember fondly for a lifetime
Carnival is a fun-filled event that every Lamplighter family is invited to attend. The afternoon
will be filled with games, attractions, food, souvenirs, dancing, a bake sale, and much more.
Everyone needs a Carnival T-Shirt! Don't let your little one miss out on
the Lamplighter tradition of T-shirt signing day! Every child will wear
the Carnival T-shirt to school the day of Carnival. Friends and teachers
will have the opportunity to sign their tees.
Please remember that due to the high volume of pre-sales, we will not be
offering carpool sales this year and online sales end at noon on
Thursday, October 3. Still need to purchase Carnival t-shirts? Shop now.
Shop now.
Note: Due to Lamplighter School policy, pre-K students will only be able to sign shirts during
the Carnival, not during school hours.
Last Call for Carnival Volunteers - we need you! The success of Carnival
depends on every family's volunteer efforts. Please make sure that you
are at your Carnival shift at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time.
Area coordinators will be checking in with each shift to give shift
instructions and answer questions.
Questions? Contact Laurie Darlak or Erika Moss.

Join us for a favorite Lamplighter tradition on Thursday, October 31, from
11:00 a.m. to noon. Bring a picnic lunch for your whole family (grandparents
too!) and don't forget your camera. Your little princesses and goblins will
parade around the Ring Road starting around 11:00 a.m. Afterward, find a
spot on the lawn near the amphitheater for a family picnic. Families will
gather by grade level for lunch. Children in different grades? Plan to split
your time between classes, as your child must stay with his/her teacher
throughout the picnic.

With a goal of $450,000, the 2013-2014 Annual Fund, "Be the
Spark...that Ignites Young Minds," will use your tax deductible
contribution to provide funding during this school year for
incredible, leading edge programs and initiatives such as:
Our partnerships with the Perot Museum of Nature and
Science and SMU School of Education.
Increased faculty presence at national conferences directly
enhancing curriculum and the latest teaching methods.
STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) programs
including robotics, hydroponics, and computer programming for the youngest learners
through fourth grade.
Improvements to classrooms and our beautiful campus.
These are just a few of the tangible ways that the Annual Fund will directly benefit our
students while filling the financial gap in this year's program that tuition alone cannot cover.
Please help us reach our goal, by making your gift today!
