Join USGBC-Illinois for one or two full days of educational programs to
earn up to 15.0 GBCI professional development hours in all seven
GBCI Credential Maintenance Categories for your LEED Green
Associate or LEED AP Credential! (15.0 AIA LU/HSW/SD also available)
Sessions will cover continuing education requirements in GBCI's Project
Site Factors, Water Management, Project Systems & Energy Impacts,
Acquisition and Installation of Project Materials, Improvements to the
Indoor Environment, Stakeholder Involvement and Innovation, and
Project Surrounding and Public Outreach.
Day One
Includes seven presentations by local experts on a variety of green
building topics earning you 8.0 GBCI hours in each GBCI CMP category.

Chapter Volunteer Shout Out!
The USGBC-Illinois Chapter is a Member driven organization. We
cannot achieve our goals without the support of our Chapter member
volunteers. In the spirit of National Volunteer Appreciate Month the staff
of the Chapter would like to thank each and every one of our member
volunteers. There are over 100 Chapter members volunteering to
support the Chapter's mission and vision by dedicating their time and
talents to to our many Committees and Branches If you have member
volunteer that deserves a special shout out, send a note to Joan Martin,
Manager of Membership and Outreach in the Chapter office to be
included in future Membership Newsletters.
Special thanks to Chapter member volunteer, Jean Alexis for donating
his time to create the exhibitor floorplan for the upcoming GREENER BY
DESIGN Conference and Expo. The planning committee was in need of
a quick AutoCad drawing to proceed with the exhibitor floor and while
studying for finals, Jean donated his time to help the GREENER BY
DESIGN committee stay on target! Thanks Jean!

The USGBC - Illinois Chapter and CSI Chicago are accepting education
session proposals for the GREENER BY DESIGN Conference and Expo
on October 4, 2012 in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. GREENER BY DESIGN
Conference and Expo will combine a full day of GBCI, AIA and CSI
approved continuing education sessions with an expansive exhibitor hall
of green products and services. The submission deadline has been
extended to April 30, 2012 @ 5:00 PM. Learn more here.
