Participation in the Krewe of Jefferson Truck Parade is by invitation only. The applicant and his or her group
hereby agrees to abide by all rules regulations and standards of the Krewe of Jefferson and the Ordinances of the
Parish of Jefferson, governing parades in the Parish of Jefferson A copy of the rules and regulations has been
furnished applicant before acceptance of this application by The Krewe Of Jefferson Committee.
It is understood and agreed that the officials of the Krewe of Jefferson will endeavor to keep the entrants in the
parade in the order allotted each float at the drawing, but that it does not in any manner guarantee the continuation
of said order. The right is reserved if the Captain of The Krewe of Jefferson so deems necessary, to change the route
of the parade and to remove any float from the parade at his discretion. The Krewe of Jefferson reserves unto itself
the right to reject for any cause all or any applications for participation in its Mardi Gras Day Parade. And further, any
group or organization whose application has been accepted for participation in such parade may at the sole discretion
of the Krewe of Jefferson, be revoked for failure of that group or organization to fulfill are meet any and all
requirements stipulated in the Rules and Regulations or Otherwise and such Group or Organization's Registration Fees
shall be forfeited to the Krewe of Jefferson. No refunds for any reason will be returned after a person, club or
organization has been duly accepted into the Krewe of Jefferson for the year stated on application.
MANDATORY INSURANCE ENDORSEMENTS
It is further agreed and understood that each entrant shall furnish The Krewe of Jefferson no later than forty-five (45)
days before the day of its Mardi Gras day parade a Certificate of Insurance or Policy as follows. Liability Insurance in
the following amounts. $1,000,000.00 combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage with a policy
aggregate of $3,000,000.00. Medical coverage for Mardi Gras day. ($5,000.00) Accidental Medical Expense and
($10,000.00) Accidental Death and Dismemberment
Trucks and Costumes
Give serious consideration to the preparation of your sketches for float theme, decorations, animation, headpieces,
and costumes so that there will be no questions on Mardi Gras Day. All Float Themes and Decorations must be preapproved by the Krewe of Jefferson Committee or the Captain before any group starts assembling their float. ALL
RIDERS Must Be In Full Costume. This is an Ordinance of Jefferson Parish and a Rule of the Krewe of Jefferson You
must wear a face mask or use theatrical make-up to disguise your face from the public along the parade route. You
must wear your Complete Costume that includes Head Pieces and Mask for the ENTIRE PARADE. There Will Be No
Indecent Dress of (ANY KIND). No rider will expose his or her body parts that are considered indecent to the General
Public. Obscenity of any kind will not be tolerated in any way. Our tolerance and the Parish of Jefferson is Zero (0)
in this respect. Permanent removal from the Krewe of Jefferson Parade will be the consequence for any truck float
(CLUB OR KREWE) that is proven guilty of such an offence.

MEMBERSHIP FEE: Early Membership fee for the Krewe of Jefferson Parade is $525.00 (non-refundable). Early
Membership fee must be received by May 1, 2016. After this time, the standard membership fee will be $625.00.
Payment should be in the form of cash or check payable to the Krewe of Jefferson, Inc. There will be no refunds after
application has been accepted by the Krewe of Jefferson committee regardless of the reason or condition.
$525.00 includes truck float membership fee and one photograph of your truck float on Mardi Gras day.
For the 2017 Parade Season, the Krewe of Jefferson has eliminated throw package requirements.
