your Volunteer Management Basics Certificate!
Attend the pre-conference to recognize you or your staff with professional development through a Certificate in
Volunteer Management Basics, a new training opportunity offered by HFHI. The training will cover the basics of
good volunteer management, from designing position descriptions to program evaluation. Open to both beginning and advanced staff, participants will learn from a nationally utilized curriculum that will serve to establish
a common language, baseline of understanding, and sharing of best practices and tools around successful
volunteer management. The certificate program was launched at the 2015 National Affiliate Conference. Don’t
miss this opportunity to become part of a growing network of volunteer management professionals. The session
starts on Thursday, November 12 with registration at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch and workshop sessions form
12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and will reconvene on Friday, November 13 form 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The cost is $25.
