Copying Mass Units

Select the Sales side tab.
Select the Unit Inventory bar panel.
Select Unit from the tree view, which displays the Unit Search form (UNT14600).

Enter the criteria on which you want to search in the appropriate fields.
Click the Find button in the toolbar to populate the data grid.

Double-click the record you want to copy, which displays the unit in the Unit Maintenance
form (UNT94600) in View mode.
Click on the Copy New button in the toolbar, which displays the Unit Mass Copy – Copy
Parameters form (UNT97500).

Enter the number of units you want to create in the Units to Create field.
If the Starting Stock Number and Increment fields are enabled (based on the stock
number control setting for the inventory type of the unit you are copying), enter the
following information:
 Starting Stock Number field—Enter the beginning stock number (minus the prefix
and/or suffix) for the units you are creating.
 Increment field—Enter the amount by which to increase the stock number for
each unit that is created from the copy.

By default, any available information from the existing unit, such as characteristics,
components, and attached documents, will be copied to the new units. Uncheck any check
boxes corresponding to detail you do not wish to be copied to the new unit(s).

Click the Next button, which displays the Unit Mass Copy – Unit Creation form
(UNT97510). This screen tells you whether the units you are trying to create can actually
be created.
Click the Create button to create the units.

If you created only one new unit, you will see the Unit Maintenance form (UNT94600) in
New mode. Complete the required fields within this form.

When you are finished adding the single unit, click the Save button in the toolbar.
