Mojito Joe’s is a unique venue for locals and those adrift.
Joes beach side shack is influenced by the casual elegance of1950's Americana, garnished
with Hawaiian and Polynesian pop culture.
By blending these specific styles of food, drinks, and the décor we have created a Tiki
inspired escape for locals and those adrift to enjoy
Our food is best described as “share-fare” and is a combination of
Pacific Islander, Creole, Cajun, Latin and Asian cuisines. Drinks are mostly rum-based,
complex and traditionally punchy rather than sweet.
Half the fun of holding a function or event celebratory event is enjoying the company, food,
and drinks without the stress. With decades of event experience we will manage everything
we can to make the organising and overseeing of your event as simple as possible.
We have a few options for your party at Mojito Joe’s:
We never charge for “Room Hire”
Private Functions (sole use, up to 150ppl) available *Fri/Sat. Minimum spend applies
Private Functions (sole use) available *Sun/Thurs, minimum 50ppl, Conditions apply
We have 4 booths available to be booked, 2 booths fit 8-10 and 2 fit 8-15 (any more is a
real squash)
Function area booking starts at 16 people.
Our lounge area is perfect for a cocktail & canapé style event for 16-24 people.
We have a great area for 25-50 guests, cocktail & canapé style.
If you have a larger event to organise please call us and we will work with you to make it
awesome!
Our function spaces can be secured by phoning/meeting us, selecting one of the following
menu suggestions from our most popular and function friendly fare. If there are any items
from our regular menu missing that you would like added we can discuss this with you as
well.
Included in the function package is a dedicated server who will arrange the food and will
manage all of your guest drinks requirements. Drinks can be set up on separate bills (Tabs)
at any time.

Aloha and welcome to MJ’s new functions menu for Summer/Autumn 2016/2017.
There are several more food options now to choose from starting at $30.00 per head for 6 items
and up to $49.00 for 10 items from the menu attached.
Due to feedback gathered from previous bookings we have developed a new system for your
function food requirements.
Function food options

With this option you get the Tropical Guacamole and the Penang Pirate Planks as compulsory
items and can then select 4 more items of your choice from the menu provided (6 items in total).
$36.00 per head;
With this option you get the Tropical Guacamole and the Penang Pirate Planks as compulsory
items and can then select 5 more items of your choice from the menu provided (7 items in total).
$42.00 per head
With this option you get the Tropical Guacamole and the Penang Pirate Planks as compulsory
items and can then select 6 more items of your choice from the menu provided (8 items in total).
$49.00 per head

Joe’s inspired twist on the perfect appetizer for your guests as they arrive, fresh avocado topped
with our tropical salsa, served with toasted corn chips.
*Penang Pirate Planks (GF, V)
Penang Island lies between the Malaysian mainland and Sumatra.
Once a fertile ground for Spanish sailors and pirates alike we have taken inspiration from both
countries combining Malaysian curry and Spanish Polenta to create a crispy dipping plank served
w a coconut and lime dipping sauce

Peking Duck Salad (GFA)
Shredded Peking style BBQ Duck with hoi sin, young pepper corn, leek, chilli and shallot served
on crispy Tortilla Chip
Tender Tiki Squid Skewers (GF)
Salt and Pepper Squid served with Joes own Thai spicy style SomTam.
Ninja Num-Nums (GFA)
Rare beef fillet sliced thin by Joes Ninjas, crushed macadamia for crunch and doused with ponzu
Mini Classic Cheeseburgers
Authentic hand rolled and seasoned beef patty, melted cheese, American sweet mustard and
ketchup all between a sesame topped brioche bun.
Jamaican Blackened Chicken ….. Sliders
Jerk (blackened) chicken is THE dish to feast on when drinking rum in the Caribbean. Tender
morsels of chicken breast marinated in jerk spices and grilled before being served with
guacamole and guava dressing on mini brioche hoagies
BBQ Belly on Buns…..Sliders
Slow cooked pork belly stripped and marinated in Joes smoky BBQ sauce, served warm on crisp,
shredded iceberg lettuce with Cajun spiced crisps all on toasted sesame brioche buns
Hong’s Wonton Bites
Golden fried, crisp prawn wontons served with a Chilli Jam & Kekap Manis dipping sauce
The People’s Wings (GF)
Chinese style sticky wings fried for crunch then wok tossed in hoi sin
and ginger served with toasted sesame seeds and fresh chives
Kim Jong “ILL” Wings (GF)
Korean style sticky wings fried for crunch then wok tossed in
fermented Korean chilli paste served with toasted sesame seeds and fresh chives
Buffalo Wings (GF)
The classic American wings that are so addictive, served with either
blue cheese OR ranch sauce
Massaman rolls
Massaman is a southern Thai curry with Malaysian and Indian influences containing beef, potato,
star anise, cinnamon and cloves. It has been suggested that name derived from the word
“masam” which means “sour” which strangely isn’t indicative of its rich flavour. Served with a
minted yoghurt sauce for dipping.
Jalapeno Poppers (V)
Only for the mildly brave.
Whole Jalapeno Chilies, sliced open then stuffed with a Guava Paste infused cream cheese,
stitched back up, lightly crumbed in Corn Chips and fried.
Inarizushi (Inari) (V,GF)
A standard at all sushi houses and a huge hit with Kids.
Seasoned Aburaage tofu pillows filled with sushi rice, avocado, egg roll, pickled radish and
seaweed. Dusted with sesame seeds & served with Miso ailoi.
We want your event to run as smoothly as possible, to enable this numbers are to be set at a minimum of
16 and maximum of 24 in the lounge area for an event/function and final numbers must be agreed to 72
Hours before your booking. If numbers increase over 24ppl or cancellations put your group under 16ppl
you may be moved to another area in the venue more appropriate
The confirmed number of guests will determine the amount of food prepared and charged for.
If numbers increase outside of the 72 hour window of notice we will do our best but we cannot guarantee
we will get delivery of fresh produce resulting in the possibility of menu selections being restricted.
Any additional requirement can be ordered from the regular menu as per normal share-fare service.
All functions over 15ppl are required to pay a *$200.00 deposit by Credit Card or Direct Deposit a
minimum of 10 days out from the booking (unless otherwise arranged). The $200 deposit can be used at
the venue on the night and will come directly off your food and beverage bill when you are ready to pay.
*Deposits will NOT be refunded if the booking is cancelled within 14 days of the booking allowing us
sufficient time to re book the space, no exceptions.
A representative from Mojito Joes will contact you to ensure safe payment of your deposit.
Please be aware that the smoking laws in NSW have changed this year and NO smoking is permitted in
our venue.
Anyone found smoking at our venue will be IMMEDIATELY ejected, there will be no exceptions.
If there is ANY damage to our AstroTurf or other fixtures and or fittings the person /organiser will be held
responsible and the credit card used for the booking will be charged for repairs.

All 18th, 21st Bday parties must have a parent or guardian present at all times.
