FERRARI WORLD, ABU DHABI, UAE
At over 200,000 SM, Ferrari World holds the title of
world’s largest indoor theme park. The vibrant facility
offers visitors an insider’s glimpse into the luxury,
technology and speed that characterizes Ferrari. An
exciting mix of themed rides, attractions, retail spaces
and restaurants bring the internationally revered
automotive brand to life for families and fans of all
ages and interests. CD+M’s scope included selected
attractions, the iconic architectural facade and overall
site lighting including roadways, walkways, landscaping
and main entry features.
UNIVERSAL ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE, ORLANDO, FL
Universal Studios Islands of Adventure Theme Park opened
in Orlando in 1999 and comprises six themed areas, each
containing shops, restaurants and attractions. Inviting its guests
to “Live the Adventure,” the park begins with the dramatic Port
of Entry, followed by Seuss Landing, the Lost Continent, Jurassic
Park, Toon Lagoon and Marvel Superhero Island. Collaborating
with a talented team of lighting designers, Ted Ferreira
contributed to the design of site lighting, pre-construction,
negotiation, and specifications for the parkwide lighting control
system, among the most technologically advanced in the world.
LEGOLAND, JOHOR, MALAYSIA
LEGOLAND Malaysia features more than 40
interactive rides, shows and attractions. Spanning
an impressive 76 acres, the park is divided into
seven themed areas and contains more than 50
million LEGO® bricks, three restaurants, Asia’s
largest LEGO® retail store and enormous scale
models of some of Asia’s most famous landmarks.
CD+M served as overall lighting consultant for
the site, building facades, restaurants, retail stores
and attractions in this sixth LEGOLAND park in the
world and the first of its kind in Asia.

XISHUANGBANNA WANDA THEME PARK, PRC
Construction of the Wanda Xishuangbanna Resort
took 4 years at an approximate cost of RMB16 billion.
Xishuangbanna Wanda Theme Park is Wanda’s first
world-class outdoor theme park, with strong local
cultural characteristics from Xishuangbanna. The
theme park boasts five major sections – Butterfly
Kingdom, Jungle Adventure, Ancient Tea Horse
Road, Fisherman’s Wharf, and the Water Park XSBN
venues have broken a number of theme park records
in China, and some even throughout Asia.
GUANGZHOU WANDA CULTURE TOURISM CITY, PRC
This Wanda City is the 9th Culture Tourism city in
China developed by Wanda group, is the 1st one
which is situated in the first-tier cities. The estimated
investment is around 50 billion RMB. Wanda
is targeting to build a world class park which is
expected to entertain 20 million tourists each year:
This park will help Guangzhou to be the cultural
and tourist hub of Southern China & even the
Asian Pacific Region. CD+M designed the lighting
for architectural facades, landscape and queuing
areas for the outdoor theme park within the city.
HARBIN WANDA CULTURE TOURISM CITY, PRC
The total investment of this project is
around 40 billion RMB, is the 1st Culture
Tourism City project developed in China
by Wanda Group, which is a large –scale
culture, tourism and commercial mixed-use
project. The total site is 80 hectare, and
GFA 900,000 SM, expecting 20 million
tourists each year. CD+M designed the
lighting of the outdoor theme park within
this Wanda City.

LEGOLAND DUBAI, DUBAI, UAE
LEGOLAND Dubai features more than 40 interactive
rides, shows and a water park with over 20 attractions.
Spanning an impressive 76 acres, the park is divided
into six themed areas and contains more than 60 million
LEGO® bricks, 5 restaurants, Dubai’s largest LEGO®
retail store and enormous scale models of the Taj Mahal,
the Burj Khalifa and other famous landmarks. CD+M
served as overall lighting consultant for the site, building
facades, restaurants, retail stores and attractions in this
seventh LEGOLAND park in the world and the first of its
kind in the Middle East.
IMG WORLDS OF ADVENTURE, DUBAI, UAE
IMG’s 1.5 million SF indoor theme park located
on Dubai’s outer Mohammed bin Zayed Road was
completed and opened in August 2016. It is the largest
indoor theme park in the world – about the size of
28 football fields. A completely enclosed park and
temperature-controlled for the hot Dubai environment,
the park includes more than 20 rides and attractions,
with four epic adventure zones - Cartoon Network,
MARVEL, Lost Valley - Dinosaur Adventure and IMG
Boulevard. The park has the capacity to welcome more
than 20,000 guests a day.
BOLLYWOOD, DUBAI, UAE
A celebration of Mumbai’s legendary film industry,
Bollywood Theme Park comprises 5 zones of live
entertainment, stage performances and flamboyant
cinematic rides unlike any other. Spanning 1.7 million
SF, opened to the public in October, 2016, aiming to
transport visitors into the action, adventure and romance
of India’s Bollywood cinema. The theme park features 16
cinematic rides, 6 themed r­estaurants and a choice of 30
live shows that are inspired by ­contemporary and classic
blockbusters. CD+M provided all of the exterior, interior,
show and attraction lighting design consulting under
contract to Dubai Parks + Resorts and Riva Creative.
