No How long has the student had instruction in an English Language Development program? 5 Years or less More than 5 years Eligible for the Spanish version of the assessment* Districts must determine if the translated Spanish version of the assessment is the best choice for the student or if the English version with English learner accommodations will better help the student access the content on the assessment. * District assessment leadership should collaborate with EL staff to evaluate student eligibility and appropriateness of using the Spanish version of the assessment.
