Who We Are
Engineers Australia is the national forum for the advancement
of engineering and the professional development of our
members. With over 100,000 members embracing all
disciplines of the engineering team, Engineers Australia is the
largest and most diverse professional body for engineers in
Australia.
Our Message
One of Engineers Australia’s core activities is to make its position known on policies, inquiries and
other government initiatives. Such high-level representation raises the profile of engineers and
ensures that the views of practising engineers are considered when government develop policies. We
use a range of methods to ensure our voice is heard.

Engineers Australia Groups
Engineers Australia groups perform an important function in Engineers Australia’s strategic role to
provide state-wide advocacy, support and professional development opportunities for our members.
Engineers Australia groups are run by active and progressive committees, offering a comprehensive
calendar of events and professional development programs for engineers. We are seeking sponsors
to assist us in continuing to offer quality events that support and celebrate engineering.

Regional Clusters
Engineers Australia, Queensland manage 10 regional groups,
these regional groups form three regional clusters – Southern,
Northern and Central. The following outlines the regional
areas of each cluster.

Events and Activities
The Queensland Regional Engineering Forums are held
annually in a host location of each regional cluster. Each have
an expected audience of more than 80 people made up of
engineering business owners, managers, public servants,
maintenance staff, engineering students and business
executives across all local industries.
Speakers will come from Government, learning institutions,
the finance and insurance sectors, large and small
organisations
