Items for the summer Chronicle (combined July/August issue) are
due this Wednesday, June 15. Please look/plan ahead toward both months and get
pertinent news to [email protected] by that date. Thank you kindly.
THANK YOU!
Last week I made an appeal for donations to help Sumani (the international student who was attending our congregation and just graduated from SNHU
this May; she owes back tuition because her parents’ house collapsed in India which
caused them to stop tuition payments). I am happy to report that we collected $595 in
donations—which we rounded up to $600 to cover her first month’s payment and
gives her a grace period to find a job. Your generosity is much appreciated! Praise

“SHARE YOUR HISTORY” DAY The Emma Blood French building on the corner of Pine
and Concord streets is celebrating its 100th anniversary this November. In 1916 it was
the first permanent home of the Manchester Institute of Arts & Sciences (now the
New Hampshire Institute of Art). Since then, thousands of people have enjoyed concerts, lectures, art classes and exhibits, along with many other cultural activities there.
On Sunday, June 26 the public is invited to bring in their old photos, programs, artwork or just memories about their experiences there to help them commemorate the
event. Bring your “history” to the French Building, 148 Concord St. from 10:30 am to
1:30 pm on Sunday, June 26. For more information contact [email protected].
