Objectives of the Conference 1. Describe the comprehensive approach of milieu-oriented holistic neurorehabilitation for patients with acquired brain injuries 2. Review technological innovations and creative interventions to augment the effectiveness of compensatory strategies so as to increase the functional independence of patients with acquired brain injuries 3. Describe the collaboration process with the interdisciplinary team and treating physicians to improve the community re-integration and return to work processes of patients with acquired brain injuries 4. Review techniques to engage and empower families in the neurorehabilitation process to enhance the long-term outcomes. Intended Audience Current and future neurorehabilitation professionals, including, but not limited to: Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Recreational Therapists, Rehabilitation Psychologists, Neuropsychologists, Clinical Psychologists, and Physiatrists.
