Welcome
Set in the Berry Islands in the heart of the Bahamas this private island retreat offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 3 luxury villas. Little Whale Cay is steeped in local Bahamian history and is easily accessible by plane from Florida or Nassau.
With its sea-view infinity pool, fitness center, tennis court, private
airstrip, harbour and flotilla of boats for fishing, cruising or water
sports, plus a full compliment of 13 staff including a masseur and a
personal chef, this stunning island offers every opportunity to indulge
yourself.

Accommodation
Developed in the 1930s as a private island
paradise by Wallace Groves, an early pioneer in
the Bahamas, the 93 acre Little Whale Cay hosts
its guests (up to 12) in three secluded sea-view
houses: Little Whale, Peacock and Flamingo,
with a total of 7 bedrooms. Each house has flat
screen TV’s, DVD players, iPod docks, telephones
and air-conditioning. WiFi internet access is also
available in each of the houses and at the pool.

Little Whale House
Little Whale House has A master suite and one double bedroom, both with en suite bathrooms; a study with computer; dining room with a large fireplace; kitchen; WiFi Broadband Satellite Internet connection throughout; telephones; living room with a BOSE iPod docking system; bar; entertainment/
media area complete with a satellite flat screen television. Little Whale House also offers an ocean front courtyard with an external fireplace and barbecue, a variety of open air dining areas and chef’s accommodation.

Flamingo House
Flamingo House has three double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and one single room with two single beds for children. there is ALSO an open plan living area, kitchen and external terrace.

Peacock House
Peacock House has a double bedroom,

The island has washing facilities and Laundry will usually be returned
to your room on the same day. We have no dry cleaning facilities.

Dining
All your meals will be prepared to your
personal preference by our private chef from
delicious fresh and organic vegetables, fish and
meat, with an emphasis on healthy, light dishes.
Food is flown in regularly so all diets can be
accommodated. Menus are discussed with you
in as much, or as little detail as you like, in
advance of your holiday.

LOCATION
Little Whale Cay is located 140 miles southeast of Fort Lauderdale and 35 miles off of Nassau,
in the Berry Island chain of the Bahamas.
Little Whale Cay has its own 2,000’ airstrip, suitable for light, twin
engine aircraft. Flying from Fort Lauderdale, customs can be cleared
at Chub Cay - a port of entry into the Bahamas - before an onward
flight of five minutes into Little Whale Cay.
Chub Cay’s airstrip is suitable for private jet aircraft, where you can
transfer into a smaller aircraft or be collected by one of the Little
Whale Cay island boats.
