Factoring Trinomials with a=1 Scavenger Hunt Factoring Trinomial Scavenger Hunt Directions Print each sheet containing the factors on a piece of cardstock and laminate if you like to reuse. They are already in the correct order in this file, so make sure to mix them up when you post them on your wall. You can choose to put students in groups, pairs, or individual. Give each group or student a recoding sheet for their answers. I let them all do their own recording sheet. Students choose a trinomial to factor (at the bottom on the cardstock), then locate the factors (at the top of each cardstock) for that trinomial around the room. Then they factor the trinomial at the bottom of that cardstock, and continue in that fashion until all 10 have been worked and they end back up at the original one they started with. If they don’t, they did something wrong. Happy Factoring!!
