• Bernat® Handicrafter® Cotton Yarn, 1 skein each: Kiwi (A), Mango (B), Peach (C), Watermelon (D), Strawberry (E)
• Size G/6 crochet hook or size to obtain gauge
• Stitch markers
• Yarn needle
GAUGE:15 hdc and 12 rows = 4"
1 Motif = 4"
DIRECTIONS:
MOTIF: With Color 1, ch 5. Join with sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 4 (counts as dc and ch 1). (1 dc. Ch 1) 11 times. Join with sl st to 3rd ch of ch 4. Fasten off. 12 dc.
Rnd 2: Join Color 2 with sl st to any ch-1 sp. Ch 3. 4 dc in same sp as sl st. Drop loop. Re-insert hook to top of ch
3 and draw dropped loop through – Beg popcorn made. *Ch 2. 5 dc in next ch-1 sp. Drop loop. Re-insert hook
to first dc and draw dropped loop through – popcorn made. Rep from * around. Ch 2. Join with sl st to top of beg
popcorn. Fasten off.
Rnd 3: Join A with sl st to any ch-2 sp. Ch 2. Yoh and draw up a loop in same sp as sl st. (Yoh and draw through
2 loops on hook) twice – beg cluster made. *Ch 3. (Yoh and draw up a loop. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on
hook) twice in next ch-2 sp. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook – cluster made. Rep from * around. Ch 3.
Join with sl st to top of beg cluster. Fasten off.
Rnd 4: Join Color 3 with sl st to any ch-3 sp. Ch 4 (counts as tr). 3 dc in same sp as sl st. *(4 dc in next ch-3 sp
twice.** (3 dc. 1 tr. Ch 1. 1 tr. 3 dc) in next ch-3 sp. Rep from * twice more, then from * to ** once more.

Sew Motifs tog as shown on Diagram:

• Make 8 Motifs 3 using E as
Color 1, D as Color 2 and
B as Color 3.
• Make 9 Motifs 4 using B as
Color 1, E as Color 2 and C as Color 3.
TOP EDGING:
Rnd 1: (RS). Join A with sl st to any ch-1 sp. Ch 2 (does not count as st). *1 hdc in each dc or tr to next ch-1 sp. (Yoh
and draw up a loop in next ch-1 sp) twice. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook – hdc2tog made. Rep from *
around. Join with sl st to first hdc.
Rnd 2: Ch 2 (does not count as st). 1 hdc in each st around. Join with sl st to first hdc. Fasten off.
HANDLES: Make 2.
With A, ch 70.
Row 1: (RS). 1 dc in 3rd ch from hook and each ch to end of chain. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc). 1 dc in each dc to end of row. Turn.
Row 3. Fold work lengthwise, working through both thicknesses, ch 1. 1 sc in each dc to end of row. Fasten off.
Place markers 5" in from each end along top of Bag. Sew handles at markers.
