Agreement for Schools
THE CLUB is offering an opportunity for school recycling clubs to not only
preserve the environment by collecting cans, but also to receive revenue
on a per pound basis for the cans they collect. The goal of the program is
to increase school recycling funds while increasing aluminum can
recycling. As part of the program, THE CLUB will provide participating
schools with a large aluminum collection cage that can be parked out
doors for easy access.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of NRRA, the NRRA School CLUB and Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc., the
Can Cages are available for loan to member schools for FREE!!!
SIX EASY STEPS FOR USING THE CAN CAGE
1. COMPLETE the “Reservation Form” (on the reverse side or download at www.nrra.net) and
mail or fax or email it to NRRA along with Proof of Insurance for the Towing Vehicle;
2. WAIT for NRRA to contact you confirming the receipt of reservation and the date(s) in which the
Can Cage is requested;
3. PICK UP the Can Cage according to the reservation dates at the NRRA Office in Epsom, NH and
tow (1-7/8” or 2” ball is required) it to your school;
4. SET UP the Can Cage and START collecting Aluminum Cans; and once it’s
5. FULL you must work with NRRA to empty your recyclables. Once you’re ready to turn in your
aluminum cans, please call NRRA at 736-4401. They will find a drop-off location for you and arrange
all the details. You are in charge of transporting the can cage to the appropriate location. NRRA will
mail you a check for the profits from the aluminum cans.
6. RETURN the Can Cage EMPTY and in the same condition you received it in to the NRRA offices in
Epsom, NH.

*If proof of insurance is not included with this form, it MUST be provided upon pick up. The insurance must cover the vehicle
that is towing the Can Cage. No Can Cage will be released unless proof of insurance is provided.
Release - Indemnification - Assumption of Risk
In consideration of the use of the Can Cage,
, the “Borrower”, agrees to indemnify the
Northeast Resource Recovery Association, The NRRA School CLUB, and all of their employees, constituents, members
and Can Cage sponsors (the “Lenders”) from and against all liability and/or loss that the Lenders sustain as a result of
claims, demands, costs, or judgments arising from the transport, operation or custody of the Can Cage while the Can
Cage is in the care, control and use of the Borrower or Borrower’s agents, whether such claims are due to imperfections
in the equipment, content of the can cage, content of fabricated materials, faulty installation, negligence of the Lenders
or any other cause. Borrower waives all rights to make claim or file suit against Lenders for any cause related to the
use of the Can Cage. Borrower agrees to indemnify Lender’s expense in defending against all such claims or demands.
Borrower understands that the Can Cage is a trailer that must be towed over the highway and that there is a possibility
that the trailer could detach from the tow vehicle. If such event happens, the Borrower agrees to be held responsible.
Borrower also understands that there may be components of the trailer that are flammable and the trailer may move
after it is positioned since it is on wheels and based on this knowledge, Borrower has assumed the risk of its use and
any claims that others may have with respect to these or other risks. Borrower acknowledges that there are no
warranties of any kind either express or implied. Borrower affirms that they have authority to sign this indemnification.
Above and beyond normal wear and tear, the Borrower agrees to be responsible for any damages resulting to the Can
Cage, including damages caused by improper handling/care of the Can Cage, while in Borrower’s possession.
