Frank enstein Project
Your task is to create a soundtrack/playlist for the Frankenstein novel.
To Cr eate Your Soundtrack:
Select 4 different songs, one pertaining to each of the following:
A. One of the themes of the novel
B. A particular character
C. A conflict Dr. Frankenstein struggles with (either internal or external)
D. A specific scene in the novel
For each song selection, type a 5 sentence paragraph explanation of each choice
(4 paragraphs total). Each response should include a quote from the novel and a
lyric from the song. For your written response, make sure you choose a lyric that
is school appropriate! Please label each selection (theme, character, conflict, &
scene).
This is a test grade and will be due upon the completion of our Frankenstein unit.
Actual due date will be announced later.
Example:
Character:
Lady Macbeth is full of ambition and wants her husband to be the king of Scotland,
no matter what the cost. All her focus is on their future. She says, “Great Glamis, worthy
Cawdor, greater than both by the all-hail hereafter! Thy letters have transported me
beyond this ignorant present, and I feel now the future in the instant.” The song “I Want
it All” by Queen is a good song for her. With lyrics like “Just give me what you know is
mine” and “I'm a man with a one-track mind,” it is a song that embodies the greed and
ambition she is feeling.
