Advocacy and Communication for Environment ( ACE Program) Malicca initiated the ACE Programme with the view for SIP to work on the programme over the next two years. It was launched on Earth Day -‐22nd April. Briefly, the objectives of ACE Programme are: 1. To increase awareness among school children on the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment 2. To provide the necessary support to the community, to recycle their garbage. There are two parts to the project: 1. One part is to increase awareness and good environmental practices among school children 2. The other part is to enhance the recycling habits of the community. Both parts will require good advocacy and communication efforts, to be successful. SIP is working on the first part of the project in 2015.
