NEW ADDITION IN 2012!
VILLERAY-SAINT-MICHEL-PARC-EXTENSION BOROUGH WELCOMES ITALIAN WEEK
Montreal, August 8, 2012 – The Honorary President, Mr. Frank Venneri, city councilor for the FrançoisPerrault district, invites you participate in a variety of outdoor activities and performances during
Montreal's Italian Week, which will take place for the first time in the borough of Villeray-Saint-MichelParc-Extension at François-Perrault Park on August 12th.
Beginning at noon, festival-goers can savour some traditional Italian food and admire the Fiat 500
exhibit, while children enjoy the inflatable games. Shows will begin at 6:30p.m. with singer David
Marino, followed by the "Danzerini di Lucinico," a folkloric dance group from Italy. The shows continue
with the musical group VU, comedian Joe Cacchione, and a classical performance entitled, “La Chanson
Napolitaine et l’Opéra”.
