Come along and learn how to create unique jewellery items for your family and friends.
Learners will be introduced to the tools and resources available for making beaded earrings
and necklaces. Learners will create their own jewellery including exploring the potential of using
recycled and found objects to maximise value and creativity

 Introduction to tools and resources.
 Learn techniques for making earrings and
necklaces.
 Use equipment to string, knot, thread and
wire necklaces attaching crimps, clasps and
lace ends.
 Learn how to make beads.
 Prepare work for sale considering
presentation, packaging, health and safety,
costs and mark up.
There will be an additional cost of £5 payable
spread across the course, to Age UK Bexley,
for basic materials used.
This course is open to anyone over the age of
50.
