Probability Question
Xavior, Ryan, Kelsey,Caity
Keenan places 3 green marbles, 4 yellow marbles and 1 blue marble in a bag.
Keenan then adds 1 green marble and 1 yellow marble to the bag.
Does the probability that Keenan will randomly choose a yellow marble increase, decrease or stay the same?
Justify your answer:
We have 4 yellow marbles and we added 1 to the
yellow. We have 3 green and we added 1 more green
to the 3. We only have 1 blue.

and Caitlynn:)
The chance to pull a yellow is the same from the start
Because you add 1 to yellow and 1 to green. They are
9n marbles so 60% is yellow and 30% is green.10%
blue 4/8 50% ⅜ 37.5%⅛ 12.5% before added
marglles
After added marbles 5/10 4/10 1/10
Probability Question
Megan, Zander, Monica, Hannah
Keenan places 16 green marbles, 7 yellow marbles and 3 blue marble in a bag.
Keenan then adds 2 green marble and 1 yellow marble to the bag.
Does the probability that Keenan will randomly choose a yellow marble increase, decrease or stay the
same?
Justify your answer:
Step 1:There are 16 green
marbles,7 yellow and 3 blue!!! 2
green and 1 yellow marbles are
added!!!
Step 3: We will use addition
and subtraction!!!
Step 4:Blue is
Step 2: Does the probability
that Keenan will randomly
choose a yellow marble
increase, decrease or stay the
same???
Probability Question
Denver, Zachariah, Robert
Keenan places 8 green marbles, 7 yellow marbles and 1 blue marble in a bag.
Keenan then adds 3 green marble and 1 yellow marble to the bag.
Does the probability that Keenan will randomly choose a yellow marble increase, decrease or stay the same?
Justify your answer:
Green’s chance
+
+
First there was 8 green marbles then he put 3 more in. There was 7 yellow
marbles then he put 1 more in it. Blue was never added. We need to figure
out how much yellow’s chance of getting picked is increased decreased or
stays the same
Probability Question
Jayden, Gracie, Aiden
Keenan places 16 green marbles, 7 yellow marbles and 3 blue marble in a bag.
Keenan then adds 1 green marble and 1 yellow marble to the bag.
Does the probability that Keenan will randomly choose a yellow marble increase, decrease or stay the same?
Justify your answer:
Step:1 I know we have 16
green marbles , 7 yellow
marbles , 3 blue marbles.
Step:2 does the
probability that Keenan
will randomly choose a
yellow marble increase,
decrease,or stay the
same.
Step:3 we used percentage
to find our answer .
8 : yellow
3 : blue
Step4: the probability
that Keenan will
randomly choose a
yellow marble
Decreases.
40%
17 : green = 60%
= 100%
Probability Question
Kayden, Tianah, Cameron
Keenan places 10 green marbles, 3 yellow marbles and 1 blue marble in a bag.
Keenan then adds 3 green marble and 3 yellow marble to the bag.
Does the probability that Keenan will randomly choose a yellow marble increase, decrease or stay the same?
Justify your answer: Step1:
We know that there are 10
green, 3 yellow, 1 blue
marbles in the bag then we
will have to add 3 green, 3
yellow marbles to the bag.
Step2:
Does the probability
v
that Keenan will randomly
choose a yellow marble
increase, decrease or stay
the same?
Step3: The marbles are
showing how many are all
together.
Step4:The probability of the
change of Keenan pulling a
yellow marble increased by
14
Step3:
