Before proceeding to use the electronic taps, we recommend You to carefully read the instructions in this
handbook. The correct installation and the correct maintenance assure the best functionality of the products.

For pressures higher than 5 bars we recommend the installation of a pressure reducer on the feeding net.
Hot water connection on the left, Cold water connection on the right .
With technical modification reserve
Warning : Before installing the electronic mixer, make sure that the water pipes are free of masonry debris
and impurities, in order to avoid clogging that would compromise the correct functionality of the mixer.
If during the first Open the water flow is little it’s better to clean the filters inside the angle-valves.
Installation
1) Screw the 2 angle-valves in the wall connections , cold water on the right and hot water on the left
and close them turning the nuts clockwise .
2) Fit the tap body using the fixing set .
3) Connect the flexibles to the body tap and to the angle-valves
4) Put the battery holder on the right position near the basin
5) Open the net flow and open the 2 angle-valves turning the nuts anticlockwise , verify all the seals on
all the connections.
6) Connect the battery cable to the tap electric cable with the connections at the ends . Wait for 15
seconds . In this way the tap is working on fast mode.
Energy saving mode
If you want to use the energy saving mode you must cover the sensor within 5 seconds of the battery
connection . The led is lighting because he received the indication , now move the hand and wait for
10 second before using the tap .

Use
To use the tap you simply move the hands under the aerator near the tap body . If the tap is a mixer you
can use the mixer lever. If you put away the hands from the tap it stops automatically.
Maintenance
We recommend a periodic maintenance to avoid the problems caused by the usual wear and the limestone or
dirty . When you do the maintenance you must close the flow by turning clockwise the angle-valves nuts .

Cleaning
In order to maintain the aesthetic quality of the mixers, it is necessary to follow some simple indications:



Clean up the limestone stains or other stains by using water and soap or specific products for chrome
plated surfaces.
Avoid to use granular or acid detergents, abrasive or metal sponges.
The plastic parts must not be in contact with alcohol-based detergents or solvents.

Problems and solutions
1) No water from the tap
Problems :






Exhaust battery
Electric connections not well plugged
Angle-valves closed
Aerator completely clogged
Filters completely clogged
Water net pressure / flow rate not ok
Solutions :






Change the battery
Verify the electric connections
Open the angle-valves
Clean or replace the aerator
Clean or replace the filters
Verify the net pressure / flow rate
2) A little water from the tap
problems :




Not enough pressure in the net
Filters not completely clean
Aerator not completely clean
Angle-valves not completely open
solutions :





Verify and set the net pressure (above all if there are taps installed in series )
Verify and set the net flow rate (above all if there are taps installed in series )
Clean / Replace the aerator
Clean / Replace the filters partially clogged
Open completely the main flow valves
Warranty
PENTAGONO RUBINETTERIE SRL warrants the mixers for a period of 2 years from the purchasing date.
The warranty is not applicable in the following cases:








Not correct use of the taps
Not correct installation or carried out with not suitable instruments
Lack or inadequacy of the maintenance
Improper use of cleaning products or use of not suitable products
For the components subject to normal wear and tear
Damages due to limestone or clogging in the pipes
Damages due to use of not original spare parts
Damages due to chemical, electrochemical and electrical problems
In case of claiming, it is necessary to give back the mixer with:




Original packing
Purchasing document ( fiscal paper )
Original control/warranty ticket ( contests slip )
Written description of the defect
