W.C.C.A. 2013-2014 Dress Code
UNIFORM SUPPLIER: LANDS’ END
[Uniforms (excluding jackets/shoes/socks/belts) MUST be purchased from W.C.C.A.’s Lands’ End website]
W.C.C.A administration deems the right to determine any trend, fashion or fad inappropriate for school activities.
All students will be in uniform (including outerwear) every day except on specified occasions (i.e. Field Trips).
Tops appropriately sized and worn tucked in.
Boys and Girls – Polo: White, Navy
Girls Blouse – White
Boys Dress Shirt – White
Bottoms appropriately sized with belt:
Boys – Shorts and Pants: Khaki
Girls – Shorts, Pants, Skorts and Skirts: Khaki (Biker shorts are mandatory under skirts, and all dress must be
no more than 2” above knee.)
Outerwear (hoods remain down)
Boys & Girls – Jackets: Navy (plain, with no writing, except school logo if desired)
Boys & Girls – Sweater or Vest: Navy (plain, with no writing; except school logo if desired)
Shoes
Boys & Girls – Athletic shoes: Black, White, or combination of Black & White is acceptable. No other colors on
shoes or shoelaces.
Boys – Dress shoes: solid Brown or Black; Dress boots can be worn with long pants only. No embellishments on
any shoes.
Girls – Dress shoes: solid Brown, Black or Navy flats; Dress boots (no heels) may be worn with long pants only.
All shoes must be closed toe and closed heel. No extra embellishments on shoes.
Hair
Hair style is to be conservative (no spiked hair, dreadlocks, etc.). Color is to be in the natural range.
Boys – hair must be above the eyebrow, may come to the middle of the ear and at the collar.
Accessories
Boys & Girls- Hats, visors, sweatband, do-rags, other head coverings, or sunglasses are not to be worn indoors.
Boys & Girls - Belts are to be solid Black or Brown; simple belt buckles and no embellishments on belts.
Boys – Socks: White, Navy or Black – crew, ankle, and no-shows. No tube socks
Girls –Socks: White or Navy or Black – dress sock, crew, ankle, no-shows, knee-highs, and tights
Girls - Headbands: plain, solid White, Navy or Black (No embellishments on head bands)
Boys & Girls - Jewelry – One single necklace may be worn under shirt.
Uniform Violation Consequences
1st Violation- Student is warned and parent is notified. Flagrant violations will require parent to
immediately bring corrected uniform.
2nd Violation (and all additional violations)- Recess/Lunch Detention
3rd Violation- Immediate conference with parent to avoid further school disciplinary actions.
*Any further violations will be handled on an individual basis.
