people honor the American flag on that day.
The American flag is red, white, and blue.
It has 13 stripes. It has 50 stars. Each star
stands for one of our 50 states.
Where do we see the American flag? We
see it in parades. We see it on people’s houses.
We see it on buildings in towns. We see it at
schools. We see the flag on many holidays.
