Since St. Paul’s website was relaunched during the All-Church Meeting on January 29, it has been suggested a small website committee be established. The committee would meet monthly, plan updates to the website, and keep it current. Kit Oase, who has been at the helm of this effort, will serve as the committee’s chairperson. Please contact Kit [[email protected]] if you are interested in volunteering to join the committee Preschool Registration Early Registration for the 2017/2018 School Year will be open to the St. Paul’s congregation on Tuesday, February 21st from 5:30 - 7:00 PM in the Preschool Office. Reconciling/Inclusive Congregation Journey Discussions about St. Paul's spiritual journey, exploring what a reconciling/inclusive congregation means, often take place in our monthly Discipleship Committee meetings. Chair Andrew Price asks us to open each meeting by sharing the following prayer aloud together. It's a prayer that gives voice to our questions, concerns, beliefs and struggles as we live in our world today with all its difficulties and complexities. This prayer is shared here with hope you will find it meaningful, as well. God of love, source of mercy and compassion, weave your dream for the world into the fabric of our lives. Remove the scales from our eyes and lift the indifference from our hearts, so that we may see your vision. Transform our lives, so that we may accomplish your purpose. Help us to reach out to those whom no one else will touch, to accept the unacceptable, and to embrace the enemy. Surround us with your love, fill us with your grace, and strengthen us for your service. Empower us to respond to the call of Jesus - to deny ourselves, to take up our crosses and to follow. Make us your disciples. Amen. February 28th @ 6pm Pancake Supper and Silent Auction Personal Prayer Gardens will be sold to enrich the Lenten journey experience for the 2017 season. Grudges are a waste of your happiness. Laugh when you can, apologize when you should and let go of things you can’t change. Love deeply and forgive quickly. Take chances. Give everything and have no regrets. Life's too short to be unhappy.
