Entry Fee: $0.75 per entry, unlimited entries allowed per class. But only two monies paid per class.
Each item must be written separately. Exhibitor Fee: $13.00
Entries for BOTH shows close at 5:00 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2015. ABSOLUTELY NO LATE ENTRIES.
Department L is open to junior open aged kids and adults. Anyone not following the rules may be disqualified.
Important Notice – Two separate shows will be held in this division. Please read schedule carefully as
many classes will not be repeated. ALL regulations apply to both shows
All the General Art Hall Rules Plus the following:
Rule 1: Judging: Potted plants will be judged in accordance with size, shape, health and vigor, flowers (if any, quantity and quality).
Plants are to be owned and cared for by the exhibitor for at least 1 months prior to the fair. Collections of SPECIMEN cut flowers will be
judged in accordance with the size of flowers, color, length of stem, stiffness of foliage, quality and condition of flowers, number of
flowers on a stem and spacing of flowers. Floral ARRANGEMENTS will be judged in accordance with the general effect, proportion,
suitability of plant materials, color coordination and initiative of the exhibitor. In the arrangements, the flowers do not have to be grown
by the exhibitor; however, arrangements must be the handiwork of exhibitor and must not vary from the class “theme”.. Permanent
flowers, and or dried may be used, only where specified. No Goldenrod or noxious weeds will be allowed. Do not use “Plant Shine”
of any kind.
Rule 2: Divisions are open to amateurs. Class 1, 2, and 4 are also open to professionals as are specially designated classes..
Professionals will be considered anyone who sells an item on a regular basis or who is a business owner or employee currently working
as a floral designer.
Rule 4: Due to limited table space, your arrangements in will be limited to an area of 18”x18”. No arranging of flowers will be allowed in
the Art Hall. Exhibitors must furnish their own containers and accessories with your name and address on the container. Flowers in are
to be in glass or clear plastic containers or vases.

CLASS 7 - Table Settings- RULES: Tables no larger than 40” X 46” permitted to exhibit. Card tables are preferred.
Table settings that received blue ribbons last year must be changed in some way before entering them again. (Use same
dishes, change color of cloth and style of arrangement.) Cups and saucers DO NOT need to be used on class 1550
Holiday tables. Placements may be used with a tablecloth. Judged on harmony of setting, accessories, distinction,
proportion, color harmony and suitability for occasion. Exhibitor to furnish all necessary items to complete setting. NO
flatware to be used. No paper napkins or tablecloths unless specified.
Quilt Challenge 2015 – Class 1622
A fundraiser to support the Textile Department of the Henry County Fair, since most of the state funding
has been cut, the money raised will be designated for use in the Textile Department. The Rules are simple;
Purchase one of the designated fabric “fat quarter (s)” for $5.00. Create an item, quilted or not
using any techniques of style of your design and workmanship. You many use any fabric to compliment the
“fat quarter” that must be included somewhere in the project. You are encouraged to enter the project in
the textile department during the 2015 Henry County Fair in the Quilt Challenge Class. All other entry fees
