Cooperation in the Classroom
Plenty of Patterns
Working together and collaborating ideas has
been a main focus for the month of November.
Children practice their skills of cooperating both
in the classroom and outdoors!
Throughout the month, children had
many opportunities to practice their
patterning skills.

As we prepare for our annual Songfest,
we will focus on singing together, as
well as learn about components of
music such as tone, melody, and
rhythm.

NO SCHOOL FOR WINTER BREAK NO SCHOOL FOR WINTER BREAK
Announcements and Reminders!

The annual Pre-K Songfest celebration will take place Monday, 12/19 at 11:25am and
3:30pm, and Tuesday, 12/20 at 11:25am. The children will be performing a selection of
songs. Please join us! A sign-up sheet to share refreshments will be posted 12/5.

We want to learn more about what makes your family unique! Please join us to share a
favorite family story, song, way of celebrating, or information about your family’s
Heritage. A sign-up calendar will be posted 11/28.

Somerset Academy will be closed for Winter Break from Monday, 12/26 through Friday,
1/6. School will resume on Monday, 1/9/2017.

Ms. Renee’s last day with us will be Friday, 12/16. Please join us in wishing her luck as
she pursues her career in education!
