CONFERENCES 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.
A reserved time is required to meet with teachers.
Please call the school office (409) 762-1115 to schedule.
ATTENDANCE - Tardies: After 8:00 A.M. students are tardy. Parents
must come into the school office with their child to sign the student in and
obtain a tardy pass so the student may attend class. Three (3) tardies
equals one (1) absence.
Parent Portal: Available for parents of students in 1st – 8th grades. Access can be
obtained by visiting Ms. Barker in the school office to show identification for security
purposes. Parents will be assigned a username and password.
myschoolway.com is the mobile app APA uses to send
notices. It’s FREE and can be downloaded from the app store. When unusual
events occur (early release, student holidays, etc.), ALERTs are sent out to everyone
with APA SchoolWay access.
Birthday party celebrations with food are prohibited
during the school’s lunch periods. Parents are asked
to share party favors at the end of the day to
celebrate birthdays rather than food.

and technology.
Activities: Fun House organized by our 8th grade class, Pumpkin Walk, Pumpkin
Bean Bag Toss, Potato Sack Race, Hay Ride, Pin the Spider on the
Web, Cake Auction, Candy Apple Station, Donuts on a String, Food
and Much More!

Bronda Johnson
ABOUT MS. JOHNSON:
Born in Farmington, New Mexico on Sept. 27th, 19?? Graduated
from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX in 1978. Have
been teaching for 38 years. Taught at Western Hills Elementary
& Primary in Fort Worth, TX for 27 Years. Relocated to
Galveston one year ago. Loves sports, especially the Dallas
Cowboys. Has two dogs, Rocky, a Shih-Tzu and Roscoe, a
Pekingese. They both have special needs. Rocky is deaf and
Roscoe is blind, but they still play, take me on walks and eat
lots of treats. Took ballroom dance and competed for 10 years.
She is a Pre-Kindergarten 4 teacher.
