Line symmetry, or just symmetry, occurs when two halves of a figure

Line symmetry, or just symmetry, occurs when two halves of a
figure mirror each other across a line. The line of symmetry is
the line that divides the figure into two mirror images. A simple
test to determine if a figure has line symmetry is to fold the
figure along the supposed line of symmetry and see if the two
halves of the figure coincide.
Here our examples of line symmetry in our everyday lives!
This is a cookiecutter and it has 4 lines of symmetry. Angie!!
The white line is the line of symmetry. Jeff
This is a cookie tin. it can only be cut dianglely.jamie
This placemat has 2 lines of symmetry. Jeremy
My picture is a MP3 portable speaker. It has 2 lines of symmetry. Jordan
This is a plastic cd thats colored on. It has infinite lines. Morgan
This is a DS game case, and it has two lines of symmetry. Zach
This is a CD, it is the shape of a circle. It has many lines of symmetry! Kelly
This is a piece of blue paper, it has two lines of symmetry because it is a rectangle. Morgan V.
Here is a hat. This hat has only one line of symmetry. Joe
This a candle. It can be folded horizontally and vertically. Megan K
This is a fork. It has 1 line of symmetry. It has horizontal symetry. (the fold line goes to the left
and right). Noah
This is a heart. If it was a perfect heart it would have one line of symmetry You can fold it
vertically. Lynnzee.
This is a hat. It as a verticle fold line. Boston
This is a picture of a pillow. It has 4 lines of symmetry becuase it is a triangle. Terra
