During Four Decades of Achievement
The NYU Real Estate Institute marks 40 years of innovative academic accomplishment this year. The REI was established at NYU at the urging of real estate
leaders in the city to provide an educational home for raising the professional
academic standards, ethics, and analytical capabilities of those in the field.
Throughout its four decades, the Institute has set international standards for
university-based real estate education by incorporating the industry-based
expertise and know-how of renowned practitioners within curricula that reflect
the expectations of the great research university that is NYU. An Advisory Board
of industry leaders has been instrumental in charting the direction, supporting,
and assuring the achievement of the faculty and staff who provide the most
comprehensive array of graduate and continuing professional real estate education
programs in the world.
