Summer Parties
These sessions will be on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th July.
Children should attend at the usual time and the party activities will
run in conjunction with normal activities so the children can choose
what they want to do. The children can wear themed dressing up
for a £1 voluntary donation. The theme for the parties will be:
Thursday 13th July, Fairytale and Friday 14th July, Seaside.
Drop Off Arrangements - Reminder
If you arrive before 9:15am, please hang up children’s coats and
bags on the coat racks and if attending lunch club, place lunchboxes
on the rack provided. Then please wait in the waiting room until
you are called through at the start of the session.
Before 9:15am, it is not practical for children and adults to
wait in the main area due to Health & Safety issues and
activities being set up
30 Hours Childcare
Rainbow Pre-School are working in partnership with Turnfurlong
Infant School Pre-School and other childcare providers for children
eligible for up to 30 hours’ childcare. We will be introducing
transportation from Rainbow Pre-School, after the morning session,
to Turnfurlong for the afternoon session. Children will be
accompanied by a Rainbow member of staff. If you are eligible to
receive above 15 hours and up to 30 hours childcare and you
want to find out more, then please contact Elena Travers.
Fees
From September the fee per hour will £5 per hour. This is for hours
above your free childcare entitlement.
Sports and Fun Day
Friday 7th July 12.30 pm -2pm
Join us for an afternoon of races, games and fun. Please bring
a picnic, but leave room for cake! There will be a raffle, face
painting and activity stalls available before the races. Races
start at 1pm, everyone welcome. Please note that in the event
of rain, the event will be cancelled. Donations of cakes and
biscuits gratefully received!

Please encourage children to bring objects,
books, toys and pictures to show. These can be
linked to the topics or may just be something
they want to show their peers. Please name any
items, or place in a named bag. Thank you.

Sunny Days
As the weather turns warmer, please make sure
that children have had sun cream applied before
preschool on sunny days and bring a sunhat.
Please ensure that any sunhats, glasses etc. have
their owner’s name on.
RAINBOW FUN-DAY
The Rainbow Fun-day was a great success. It
was lots of fun and we raised an amazing
£557.20 for Rainbow! Thank you to everyone
who came, to everyone who helped and for all
the generous donations of prizes and cakes!

Looney Tunes Discos for entertaining the
children!
NICOLA’S MARATHON RUN
Nicola ran the London Marathon in April and
raised a fantastic £1000 for Rainbow! There is
