1332, exact date of death is debated)
He was the richest man of all time!
At the height of his power he had an estimated $400 billion
dollars in today’s money!

On his way back from his pilgrimage to Mecca,
Mansa Musa hid a large cache of gold
somewhere in Africa in case his kingdom should
ever need it.
But the location was hidden behind a series of
questions and locked with a secret word.
In over 700 years no one has solved the mystery.
But now we have a tool on our side that just might
help...
