The FEEU (Fingerprint Exchange in the European Union) Project
 All parties involved from the start, ACRO, NCB LONDON and IPSG
 First exchange of fingerprints commenced 20/10/2011
 Sent every week via a secure file share on i24/7 where they are downloaded by INTERPOL.
 From October to December a total of 2200 fingerprints were sent to INTERPOL from ACRO
 INTERPOL recommendation for data exchange

The FEEU Projects compliments INTERPOLs objectives – we can play a role.
 Database already exists for member countries use
 INTERPOL can manage high volume submissions
 All member countries can connect to the database
 Data restrictions in place therefore data is secure
 Provide tangible results, relevant to both the European and International arena.

Resources
 The introduction of IDENT1 to ACRO means the exchange will be extremely efficient
 Uploading files to INSYST is easy and takes only 5 minutes per batch of ten fingerprints.
 Verification of results is rapid
 In INTERPOL the High Volume Import means 300 prints can be inserted into AFIS in one go
 Updating PNC and sending intelligence to other UK police forces efficiently
 Fingerprint processing, collation and analysis of results, message to ACRO is all completed within one day.
Success 1) Hit made with fingerprints sent from ACRO against fingerprints in the INTERPOL AFIS from Romania for a national there who had committed aggravated theft.  On further investigation it was discovered that the individual was WANTED by Romania and that there is a warrant out for his arrest – A GREAT RESULT!
Out of 2200 fingerprints sent – 23 HITS have been made.
